TODAY

Today is the final day to sign-up at the food donation poster for our 200th Anniversary Summer Celebration.   How can you help us?    

 

MEETING TODAY FOR ALL HELP TEAMS FOR THE 200TH CELEBRATION:  There will be a short meeting following worship today – for all who are helping with the 200th Anniversary Summer Celebration.    Food Team Set Up Team, Breakdown Team,, Children’s Games Team, Grillers – Tent Set-up .    Please gather at the front of the sanctuary – I promise not to make this lengthy.    Sue Burge, Event Coordinator

 

OFFICIAL INVITATION TO MEMBERS AND FRIENDS OF BOOTHBAY BAPTIST CHURCH

200th ANNIVERSARY SUMMER PICNIC CELEBRATION

NEXT SUNDAY – JULY 12th – 9:30 a.m.

The second in a series of three history-making celebrations for the church’s 200th Anniversary   

 

ARRIVAL TIME:    Please arrive at church by 9:30 a.m. and park in the lower parking lot…..Greeters will be outside directing you to the grassy area in front of the church where we’ll await the arrival of very special “VIP’s”    Bring Cameras!!  Don’t be late………

IMPORTANT INFO:  If you are bringing salads, fresh fruit,  canned soda, please bring in your own cooler with your name and name of food taped on top.   Bring your cooler to the Food Team under the tent then proceed immediately to front of church.

Special surprise arrival of VIP’s will begin at 9:45 a.m.

Worship begins immediately following the arrival and seating of the VIP’S!!!????

A summer picnic will take place under the BIG tent following worship.      

Musicians will perform following the picnic and, for the children – a big inflatable and organized kid’s games will be going on behind the church on the field.  

All we need from you is a food donation – please visit the sign-up sheet today and help us tie up this one big loose end – FOOD!!

THERE WILL BE NO SUNDAY SCHOOL ON JULY 12th!!

 

 

 

 

LIGHTS OF LOVE Blanket Ministry – The handmade blankets that we displayed in church several weeks ago have been delivered to our contact person with Project Linus.   We have been informed that all of the fleece blankets are being delivered to a crisis center in Brunswick.   The quilts may be coming back to Boothbay to the Healthy Kids Program for local children in crisis.

 

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL Organizational Meeting – Tuesday, July 7th,  10 a.m. in

Fellowship Hall.   This meeting is for everyone who has committed to help in any way.  If you have been thinking about helping with VBS this summer, please come hear all about it.

Quarterly Business Meeting:  Scheduled for July 15th, 7 p.m. following Dare 2 Care

CHANGE:    The Pray Family Dedication will take place on Sunday, July 19th.

 

Guest Preacher – Sunday, July 26th, Rev. Jim Beliasov will bring the message.

 

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL IS COMING –  August 3 – 7th

Get the kids geared up for SonRock Kids Camp!!

The coolest camp ever!   Adventurous games, creative crafts, delicious snacks at Hungry Bear Lodge, Bible stories and much more. 

 

The Third and Final Celebration for our 200th Anniversary will take place during worship on Sunday, September 20th.    Guest speaker will be Dr. David Midwood, former President of Vision New England.   Following worship we’ll gather together for lunch in Fellowship Hall.
