MISSIONARY NEWS
Continue to pray for Wayne and Joyce Raychard as they labor for the Lord in Tanzania, Africa.
What do you know about the country of Tanzania? From BBC News: “Tanzania has been spared the internal strife that has blighted many African states, but it remains one of the poorest countries in the world. The population of the country – 41.5 million. Major languages: English, Swahili. Major religions: Christianity and Islam. Main exports: Sisal (a strong white fiber obtained from the leaves of an agave plant. Use: rope, rugs), cloves, coffee, cashew nuts, minerals, tobacco.”
The Raychards would like us to continue to pray for their language skills.
Did you know that two of our missionary families are expecting new arrivals this fall? Paul and Miriam Beliasov in Bangladesh are expecting their third child on October 29 and the Cousins (campus workers in Orono, Maine) are expecting their second baby on November 22.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD is kicking off again real soon.

Stay tuned – much more information is coming and you who are familiar with the program can begin collecting small toys, school supplies, etc, to fill shoeboxes for children who would normally have no Christmas.
