WELCOME TO WORSHIP SERVICE IN THE FELLOWSHIP HALL.
TODAY IS THE DEADLINE for shoeboxes to be brought in, with labels and payment for shipping included. THANK YOU to all who donated money and/or filled shoeboxes! We pray many children around the world will be blessed and come to know Jesus through these gifts of love. Thank you, Tom and Cathy Wilson, for continuing to coordinate and lead this effort.
SANCTUARY RENOVATION is three weeks along and progress continues. Take a look! We can’t thank all the volunteers enough for devoting so many hours of labor, working days and nights, taking time away from jobs and families to see this project through. Please continue to pray for their health and safety and for the rest of the job to go smoothly. If you feel led to bring in lunch food, snacks or suppers, please call Robin in the office; we would like to keep feeding the volunteers as long as they are working!
The sanctuary should be ready for worship service either Sunday, Nov. 27 or Dec. 4, depending on when the new pews are delivered and installed.
REMEMBER, NO FOOD OR DRINKS IN THE NEW SANCTUARY!
In case you have not heard, the Church Office has moved. The secretary’s office is now located on the lower level of the new parsonage, entered from the lower parking lot, next to the Pastor’s office. New signage will be installed soon. The office phone number and email address remain the same. Church office hours are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Stop in for a visit and a cup of coffee!
As we look forward to Thanksgiving, let us consider:
Asking each member of our families to express what they are
thankful for. Encourage children not just to mention material things but to reflect on how they have grown, what they have learned
or how they have seen God working in their lives this year.
We can all benefit from increasing our gratitude capacity.
