COMING EVENTS:
WORD OF LIFE youth groups meet every Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m., October through May. Olympians is for children in grades 1-6, and the WOL Teen group is for students in grades 7-12. Leaders are Mary Ann Nash, Jason & Brigitte Schlosser for Olympians, and Stan Lewis and Karen Lawless for the Teens. For more information, call the church office, 633-7378.
SATURDAY, FEB. 2, 10 A.M. to Noon: Teacher Workshop for all who work with children in the church, in Sunday School, Junior Church, Vacation Bible School, etc. We have the experience of the Porters of Child Evangelism Fellowship share with us. Mark your calendar! Snow date is Saturday, Feb. 16, same time.
SATURDAY, FEB. 2, 6-8 P.M.: GLORY OF GOD ASTRONOMY NIGHT! Bring telescopes, binoculars and dress warmly for an evening of star gazing with Fay Christy and her telescope. Fay is knowledgeable about astronomy and can share with us and point out planets, galaxies, constellations and nebula. Hot chocolate and refreshments will be available. Cloud date: Feb. 9.
FRIDAY, FEB. 15, 6:00 P.M. FIRST AID CLASS with Dr. Daniel Bates. For all who serve in any capacity in the church! This free class is invaluable, so plan to come. If you can, sign up on the board in the sanctuary or call the church office to let us know you will be attending.
